Attorney Kellie N. Wells is the founder and owner of Wells Law Firm PLLC in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she focuses her practice on helping families throughout Maricopa County and the rest of the state with their serious and complex legal challenges.
A highly rated family law attorney with over 20 years of experience, exclusively in the area of family law, Ms. Wells delivers the personalized attention and compassionate support her clients deserve as they try to resolve their conflicts and reach agreements regarding legal decision-making and support, parenting time, spousal maintenance, Orders of Protection, property division, paternity, Prenuptial and Postnuptial Agreements and other related matters.
Prior to and during law school, Ms. Wells worked as a paralegal for a family law attorney. After graduating from the College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies, Ms. Wells attended Creighton University School of Law, obtaining her Juris Doctor in 2004 and concentrating her studies on dispute resolution. Ms. Wells received her license to practice law from the Iowa State Bar Association in 2004, was admitted to practice in Nebraska in 2005 and then relocated to Arizona in 2007 where she has remained since.
Highly active in her community, Ms. Wells has served as chair for the family law section executive board of the Maricopa County Bar Association. She also has served on the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation Beach Ball Committee. Ms. Wells and her twin daughters are actively involved in the National Charity League, a philanthropic organization of mothers and daughters that donates close to three million hours annually to over 6,000 different charities. In recognition for her professionalism and service, AZ Big Media magazine has voted her among the region’s “AZ Business Leaders” twice.
As a young attorney, Ms. Wells received the Super Lawyers Rising Stars award eight times. This award is given to 2.5% of attorneys who are 40 years and younger and have been in practice 10 years or less. She is now honored to receive the Super Lawyers honor in 2023, 2024 and again in 2025. This award is given to only 5% of attorneys who have attained a high-degree of both peer recognition and professional achievement.
